I finally got to go ocean fishing on my dad's boat a couple of weeks ago and it was amazing!!!!
I can't tell you how good it felt to be unreachable for a few days. No internet, no phone... it was heaven.
My awesome husband Mike was invited to go on the trip but when he couldn't because of work he suggested that I go instead. He offered to watch the boys for the week and I jumped at the chance.
Thanks Mike, I couldn't ask for a more selfless husband.
And while I did miss Mike and the boys I'd have to say that this was one of the most relaxing weeks I've ever had.
And so on to the photos...
This is where we ate, slept, played and relaxed for the five days we were out...

I know exactly what you mean about being unreachable, and especially being in a boat out on the ocean. It really does feel like heaven. Looks like you had fun!

Oh wow! A cool trip. I was going to ask if you caught anything and I see you all did. Look at all the different kinds. I am truly a lover of seafood.
