The the day was perfect, the wedding was beautiful and the reception was stunning.
Melissa and her sister Brittany came up with the colors and design for the reception and it was gorgeous... easily the most sophisticated and stunning reception I've ever been to.
The tables were beautiful...
From the gorgeous flowers...
(I'm told the green and white buds are called Star of Bethlehem. They were my favorites.)
To the yummy yellow candy...
And the delicious, homemade, lemon poppy seed bundt cake favors wrapped in adorable gift boxes...
The cake was beautiful...
and matched the announcements perfectly...
And the yellow candy adorning all the tables was simply delish!
The food and drinks were amazing and the decor surrounding them made a statement all on its own.
And the guests...
The guests were the life of the party!
Brittany did all the flowers and they were amazing!
So if you live in Orange County and are looking for a florist for your wedding you should get her.
She's amazing. And guess what... she's not even a florist! She is an awesome interior designer. You can check out her site here.
And of course, we can't leave out the picture of the decorated car.
Your wedding was beautiful Melissa and Brian. I LOVED spending those few days with you and I wish you the very best in all that you do! Thank you so much for letting me be a part of this special time in your lives!
Also, just a little note...
I only have one regret about this whole wedding weekend spent in California.
Betcha can't guess what it was!?!
Ok, I'll spill...
Since I was traveling from Canada and had to take everything through customs, I decided to pack light.
One carry-on only.
Unfortunately, that left no room for my nice camera.
Any pictures you have seen from these past few wedding posts were all taken with my little point and shoot Canon camera and I think they all turned out great! Certainly not on the same caliber as my Canon Rebel, but still good.
So my advice to you...
Stop telling yourself that you'll take more pictures when you get a nicer camera!!!
I will guarantee you that you can get some GREAT shots with whatever camera you have now!
Go for it!
I dare you!
Then post them on your blog and let me know when you do so I can come check them out.
Good luck!
