O' Canada

We made it!!! After months of anticipation and two solid days of driving we are finally here! It feels great to finally be here after two years of decisions, paperwork, selling a house etc... We will be really grateful when we are able to move into our own place on Thursday.

We have been really very lucky to be able to spend the last couple of months with the Hurren's (Mike's parents) and we had a great time there. Things went extremely well and the boys loved it but there is just something about being able to have your own place. We will move into our new home in just a few days and we are pretty excited!

The boys are happy to be here and to be able to play with their cousins, Mike is busy working already and I am trying to get paperwork for medical, school registration, citizenship etc... finished. It's going to be a big change and take some getting used to but we are up for the challenge. Of course there are things that we will really miss about Springville... the Hurren family, the warmer weather, my girls (you know who you are:)), the shopping... The list could go on but we welcome the challenges of change and say to the big metropolis of Vanderhoof.... Bring it on!

Yay! I'm so glad you made it safe. I miss you already and I'm sad we couldn't get together before you left. I totally laughed when I came to your blog today and the Nacho song came on! It's so fitting for you and your little Nacho boy. I love it!

On a totally different note, I'm sort of a freak about blog stalkers (I've heard some stories) and I'm trying to keep our last name off our blog. I know this is lame but I noticed that you have it listed on your blog list. Would you hate me if I asked you to take it off? You can keep our first names, it's just the last name that worries me. I'm such a goober! Sorry to bother you with this when I'm sure you have much better things to be doing with your time. But thanks!

I hope you guys are able to adjust quickly to your new exciting life out there. I can't wait to see all the fun adventures you will have. Now I think I'm going to go watch Nacho because I have that song in my head! It's one of our favorites too :)

Hey, Karli. . .
I'm glad you made it there safely!! I'm glad I have your blog to follow :>). I wanted to invite you to mine. . .but even after writing your email on a church note and an Art City Trolley napkin, I can't find it! When things settle down for you, will you email me your email?

Your family will be missed, but we are happy for you to start this new adventure!

Glad to hear you made it safe and sound. And good for you to be updating your blog so quickly. Do you know what else you need to update for me? YES!! Address and phone number and stuff. Will your email change too? Sigh. Wish we were up there with you in the pleasant weather, wonderful outdoors, fishing, enormous mosquitoes everywhere, bears wandering into the yard, winter lasting until mid-June...hmmm. Maybe I could handle the cold...
