First Day of School

Porter went back to school today.

I cried.

Seriously.

And it's not even his first year of school.

He'll be going full-time now.

All day, every day.

I don't think I'll be the only one missing him something fierce.

But I might be the only one that it might actually kill!

  1. I have to giggle because my youngest started preschool Tuesday and I am so excited to be alone for 2 hours for 2 days a week. I remember crying like a baby when my oldest started school. So I feel your pain and I'm here to tell you that you will live and then cry when the next one heads off to school, just maybe not the last one. :D

  2. Porter looks so handsome. I can't believe how fast he is growing up. It almost made me cry because he was not to much older than Gavyn when Kyle and I got married and now he's in First Grade. Yikes! They grow up too fast.

  4. Those pictures are so stinking cute! Walker looks like Abby does almost everyday when Andrew goes to school. She really misses him!

  6. Hi Karli, I think you do such an awesome job of taking pictures and all the journaling you do. I really love seeing your talent and reading descriptions of the people in your pictures! I'm thinking I may need some pictures taken soon. :) ♥

  8. Maybe we as Mom's "need a hobby"?
then we wouldn't be so sad to see them leave.

  10. Porter is the handsomest first-grade boy I've seen since his father was that age. Have a great time learning, Porter!!
